God wants you to enjoy eternal life and He's giving it to you through His Son Jesus.  In this section, you'll get started on your journey!

To receive salvation, you must have faith and  believe that:

- Jesus was conceived of the Holy Ghost and born of a Virgin; Jesus is the son of God.  Click here for the birth of Jesus.

 

- Jesus died on the cross and resurrected from the dead on the third day.  He will also raise you up from the dead through God's resurrecting power (or you will be raptured at his second coming if you are alive during that time)

“ I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: and whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die.  Believest thou this?”      John 11:25 KJV

- Recognize that you are a sinner and are in need of salvation.

"For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God"        Romans 3:23 KJV

- Confess that Jesus is Lord and accept him as your Savior.

"if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.  For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."      Romans 10:9-10 KJV

 

 

Instruction:  This is a declaration, say this prayer aloud so that you can hear yourself.

Prayer of Salvation

 

Heavenly Father in the name of Jesus Christ I come before you to dedicate myself to you today.  God I thank you for this moment in time. I thank you that you’ve kept me this far.  

I come to you a sinner.  I ask you LORD to forgive me and cleanse me of my sin, wash me in the blood of Jesus Christ and fill me with the Holy Ghost.  

 

I believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God and that he died on the cross and rose again to save me from my sin.  I accept him into my heart as my Lord and Savior.  Make me a new person and create in me a clean heart.  I am no longer a sinner; I am a child of God.  I am saved in Jesus' name.

Hallelujah!
